The Lincoln Intermediate Unit was among the first IUs to join the Pennsylvania Online World of Electronic Resources, POWER Library. The POWER Library is a service of Pennsylvania's public libraries, school libraries, and the State Library providing access to thousands of full text periodicals, newspapers, a major encyclopedia, photographs, maps, charts and a multitude of reference materials to people of all ages.

Here are some of the beneficial resources in POWER Library:
  • Kids Search - designed for grades 3 - 8 students can search their databases by topics and keyword, make use of an online dictionary and encyclopedia, explore the top searches of the day, and even limit their search according to the appropriate Lexile reading levels.
  • Searchasaurus - designed for grades K - 3 students can search their databases by topics and keyword, explore the top searches of the day, or read the Fun Fact of the Day. Searchasaurus also offers Lexile limiters (reading level), making it easy for students to read and research only appropriately challenging materials.
  • EBSCO ebooks - eBooks resource includes full-text fiction and non-fiction titles (about 15,000).
  • AP Images - primary source database with more than 12 million photographs and other media (audio, news stories, etc.) from the Associated Press
  • Bookflix - online literary resource designed for PreK - 3 that pairs classical fictional video storybooks with nonfiction eBooks.
